DEPARTMENT/TEAM DESCRIPTION IT Legal Services supports our Legal community for eDiscovery, Data Privacy, Compliance, Retention Management. We focus on effective infrastructure implementation and data lifecycle management processes.
POSITION SUMMARY Ensure effective and efficient use of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network) to support all aspects of the eDiscovery model. Deep technical knowledge of IT components required.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES •Independently and proactively identifies problems and designs alternative solutions to meet the time critical demands of eDiscovery infrastructure; •Knowledge of problem solving techniques in working with different IT disciplines to ensure performance and stability within the eDiscovery infrastructure • Ability to use scripting techniques for process automation (powershell ...) •Ability to use project management skills to drive infrastructure upgrades, changes •Deep level of technical background in key areas of IT (i.e. network / security / database / infrastructure) •Knowledge of O365 and MS on prem collaboration solutions (Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive)
Position: Major Tasks • Independently applies intensive and diversified IT knowledge for infrastructure management • Builds effective processes to support a stable and efficient landscape with continuous improvement operations and effective monitoring • Ensures state of the art solutions in support of all processes within • Drives collaboration in all areas of IT (i.e. network / security / database / infrastructure / workplace) to ensure effective operational
Position: - Ability to architect and implement effective and efficient eDiscovery IT landscapes - Ability to apply in depth knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure (hosting, network, workplace computing) - Experience with OnPrem and O365 MS workplace areas - Excellent project management, analytical and problem solving skills - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to acknowledge, communicate, escalate and resolve problems - Strong team skills, having the ability to work effectively with a variety of people, with varying backgrounds, at all levels of the organization and globally.
REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES Education Requirement(s): • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical area • 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience
Preferences • eDiscovery certifications or working knowledge of eDiscovery tools including collection activities
