Our preferred client North of Pittsburgh is looking to hire a full time Director, Information Technology with ERP, planning, implementation, and managerial background. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a manager role.
Develop and administer all IT policies and procedures including those for architecture, compliance/J-SOX, security, disaster recovery, standards, and service provisioning.
Develop, recommend, and manage IT budget and IT staffing plans required to support the strategic and operational goals of the Company.
Oversee the negotiation and administration of vendor, outside service providers, and consultant contracts and service agreements for products and services.
Manage the staff of IT professionals including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, task prioritization, development, and evaluation.
Determine long-term information technology vision and strategy aligned with Company vision and strategy, including systems implementation, systems development, software and hardware platforms, growth opportunities, and business process engineering.
Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, developing business case justifications and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the company.
Formulate and deploy long-term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective information processing and communication technologies.
Lead large-scale, corporate wide system implementation projects including selection, justification, project and resource planning, budgets, process engineering, and training.
Minimum of ten years relevant IT experience
Minimum of five years of experience as a Manager or higher in the IT industry
Five or more years of experience of project management techniques and systems, required.
Advanced knowledge of business and manufacturing system processes.
Five or more years of experience with ERP systems.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
