POSITION SUMMARY The Device Project Specialist (DPS) is responsible for centrally managing the successful installation, integration and execution of Radiology device product implementations to ensure Radiology business and customer requirements are being delivered in a timely, high quality, and cost effective manner. This position will use standard project management methodologies and tools to coordinate and communicate implementation requirements, tasks, and deliverables to ensure the agreed upon outcomes are achieved.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Management of Device Implementations - Responsible for all aspects of customer Device Implementation including initial customer contact, kickoff meetings, and establishing a plan that accommodates the customers objectives and timeframes. Once the project plan is established and the customer is engaged, the DPS will ensure requirements are met before scheduling the Field Service and Clinical resources to conduct the installation and training respectively. The DPS will conduct a formal project closeout process with the customer to ensure they are satisfied with the delivery • Use and Adaptation of Salesforce tools - The DPS will use Salesforce tools (Kimble) to make the best and most efficient decision to conduct centralized scheduling for over 30 Clinical Performance Specialists and 100 Field Service Engineers. • Communicate Equipment Installation and Training Requirements - The DPS will ensure implementation requirements including IT networking, ISI, P3T Licensing, Ceiling Mounts, and conduit/raceway for cabling. Customer training requirements for Bayer devices will also be communicated and coordinated by the DPS team. • Partner with third party OEM vendors - Work with OEM partners to ensure proper handoff documentation and customer deliverables are met • Project Closeout - Establish proper follow up and Engagement Closeout activity to contribute to Marketing and Customer Success capabilities.
Education Requirement(s): • Bachelor’s Degree required (technical discipline is preferred) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant project management/coordination experience OR • Master’s Degree with 0 years of work experience, but a demonstrated understanding of project management fundamentals.
Skill & Competency Requirements: • Experience in a customer front facing position is required, with proven ability to thoughtfully manage a wide variety of customer needs (internal & external).
• Technical acumen with a willingness and ability to learn technical programs; experience with IS / IT application integration within Healthcare strongly preferred; • Ability to manage high project volumes with excellent time management skills; strong coordination skillsets with willingness to think creatively and proactively. • Strong communication and presentation skills. • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs, including Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
Preferences: • Demonstrated ability to manage objections and drive to group consensus. • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, learn on the fly, and critical thinking. • Strong self-direction, detail orientation, organizational skills and time management.
