The Integration Operations Administrator role is responsible for providing technical support and driving towards successful implementations of project and service delivery work related to the enterprise integration product suites. The role is responsible for responding to and troubleshooting incident and problem resolution in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities: •The Integration Operations Administrator role will function as L2/3 support working with application developers and other MetLife support organizations on analysis, design, and implementation of application and project requests •Assist with software upgrades/patches/maintenance to enhance performance and stability of the environment and identify issues pertaining to data integration activity, i.e. firewall, hardware/OS, Load balancer, capacity, application configuration issues, etc. •Assist in establishing new and/or expanded support services to meet business requirements and assume a consultative role to all MetLife business lines facilitating the best method to meet their data integration needs. •Maintains systems security ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. •Perform systems administration tasks for complex integration environments and provides advanced level support for operations. •Perform thorough incident analysis, including problem recreation, resulting in resolution of product-related issues and assists with architecture design and implementation of integration technologies.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required: •2+ years IT experience supporting either ETL, MFT, WMB/MQ/DataPower or other integration technologies. •Experience working with AIX, UNIX and Linux OS environments, including troubleshooting skills. •Knowledge of SSL certificates and network protocols such as AS2, FTPS, HTTPS, SFTP, and SSH •Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years of IT experience required
Preferred: •Experience supporting the Informatica product suite to include: PowerCenter, PowerExchange, DataExchange, B2B, DataTransformation, DataQuality, Metadata Manager and Master Data Management. •Experience in at least one scripting language (Perl,PowerShell,Python,Korn shell)
