Utilizes extensive functional and technical knowledge to provide systems support to a broad spectrum of administrative and enrollment entities across the School, working in a collaborative work environment with administrative users across the School. Provides business and system analysis, design and development. Manages data integrations for School. Assists the Director with strategic planning, project management, and system implementation and administration for technology that meets a widevariety of School administrative business process and workflow needs.
1. Business systems analysis. Identifies and implements information system solutions that support efficient, effective work at the School. Analyzes data for possible new systems to implement or old systems to improve. Serves as project manager for various administrative technology projects for the School’s administrative, operational, enrollment, and student services areas. Works with clientele to make sure all needs are met by the new or improved implemented system. 2. System administration support. Serves as a system administrator for the components of the admissions marketing and recruiting solutions including Salesforce, Marketo, and Jitterbit (or similar ETL product). Designs and develops addon solutions and modifications to these systems as needed. 3. System and process improvements. Assesses the institution’s business process needs related to the School’s admissions solutions, evaluates new and existing functionality, makes recommendations for improvements and modifications and implements them. 4. Development. Designs, develops, implements and validates improvements and new functionality to address the needs of the admissions solution, and its components mentioned above. 5. Data analytics and reporting. Analyzes the requirements, develops specifications, and writes queries, reports and dashboards for endusers using any of the School’s many administrative technologies, as appropriate. 6. System user security. Designs, manages, and maintains or oversees application user security needs of the admissions solution, and its components mentioned above. 7. Supports the Director with business analyses and project development of administrative technology for the School's enrollment and student services departments and strategic planning. 8. Serves on institutional committees, as necessary. 9. Maintains familiarity with the latest trends in technology.
Baccalaureate degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in higher education and technology administration or 5 to 7 years in higher education and technology administration is preferred.
Extensive experience and a solid understanding of the processes, technology, and systems used in the day to day responsibilities of a business systems analyst.
Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring interfaces between applications and databases, including core systems and thirdparty systems, is required.
Experience in project management is beneficial, including experience producing technical specifications and requirements for developers.
Experience liaising with other Project Managers and Business Systems Analysts to ensure all new components are consistent with overall design.
Experience designing and maintaining user security structures for a variety of applications is preferred.
Experience handling escalated requests for IT assistance from other School employees that may include server access, data migration, and system errors.
Excellent oral and written skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated initiative—dedicated, reliable, and detailoriented.
Strong computer skills, both functional and technical.
