We are seeking applicants for a Manager IT - Applications. This person will provide a sound Application, Database, Web and Cloud information technology environment that supports the business requirements including custom applications, purchased software applications, database management, on premise and hosted application support, reporting, data analysis, project management, requirements gathering and change control.
What You'll Do
You will both lead and direct the selection, implementation and support of application technology solutions to assist the company in achieving the business goals, as well as:
• Gather requirements and work with the department representatives on prioritization of projects; interface with the user community to analyze business processes and opportunities to apply technology to improve efficiencies. • Supervise employees responsible for business process analysis, database administration, application analysis and application security. • Manage application projects to ensure participation by affected stakeholders; identify & communicate risks and complete projects on time within assigned budgets. • Hands-on in researching, implementing and supporting technology solutions. • Assist the Vice-President of Technical Services with corporate and strategic planning.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology or related field. Masters level degree a plus. • 10 years of progressive experience in application development and support. • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in application development and support required. • Experience supporting on premise and cloud applications required. • Experience developing and implementing change manage policies and procedures. • Experience working in a highly regulated industry required. • Project Management (PMP) certification highly desired. • Experience in the electric utility industry highly desired. • Experience working with Electric Cooperatives is a plus.
