What we will expect of you
You have a love for coding, enjoy the challenge of learning new frameworks and applying them innovatively to complex problems. You also appreciate that not all innovation is technological - we equally value new ways to promote effective communication and trust within our teams. You embrace automated unit/integration testing as a standard development practice. As a member of our Cary location, you will join a team of developers, business analysts and automation testers, following agile methodologies and will be expected to immediately start contributing your thoughts and ideas. You will build a close relationship with our other teams in Cary as well as colleagues in our other locations.

Primary Technologies Used: •Java, Spring, REST, Oracle, Mongo, Angular, HTML5/CSS3, NPM, jQuery, Grunt, Less, Bootstrap, JUnit, Gherkins, Maven, Git Professional & Educational Requirements We are a results oriented workplace that values technical talent, clear communication skills and initiative taking. Responsibilities: •Analyzing, designing, programing and debugging applications in Java from business specifications/user stories, written descriptions and verbal problem reports •Working in an agile environment and supporting continuous integration/deployment •Following standard coding conventions •Practicing test driven development
Skills: •A strong working knowledge of Java and Java platforms (ex. Spring) •A strong working of knowledge of at least one: ?UI technologies: Angular, JQuery, CSS, REST or other web based technologies ?Server Side Technologies: Kafka, Hazelcast, Spring (Core, Integration, Boot & Batch) •A strong working knowledge of REST services •A strong working knowledge of relational databases •A strong working knowledge of Mongo or other NoSQL databases •An understanding of automated test frameworks •Previous experience in development •Undergraduate Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent diploma/work experience) Recommended Experience: •Practical experience with Source Code Control (preferably Git) •Practical experience with Build Tools (preferably Maven) •Practical experience with Integration (preferably Jenkins or TeamCity)
