Expedient is actively hiring an Outside Lead Generation Manager. The position is responsible for the overall success and growth of the team to include employee recruitment and development, management of employee performance of the Outbound Lead Gen staff and maximizing opportunities generated by the Outbound Lead Generation team to achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annualized targets. This position will optimize the Outbound Lead Gen organizational structure and personnel to maximize resource utilization and align company with customer needs to achieve growth goals.
Partner with the Director of Marketing and other members of the leadership team, design the outbound lead generation strategy to meet annual goals and requirements to determine number of calls to dial, focus on specific verticals or targeted sales plays, sequencing of market outreach, etc.
Oversee outbound lead gen prioritization and coverage of prospects, and periodically re-assess to maintain an ideal approach
Develop and implement tools to assist the team in growing prospecting abilities e.g. scripts, objection handling, ways to get by gatekeepers, etc.
Work with sales, sales operations and marketing to develop strategies and execute plans to increase new customer acquisition including segment specific initiatives and key roles to target within customers
Design, review and provide relevant reporting e.g. CRM, finance, to provide information and metrics for key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Maintain expert working knowledge of the company’s offerings, relevant opportunities, value proposition, financial requirements and business drivers as a means to assist lead gen reps in prospecting
Maintain expert working knowledge of the competition and marketplace trends to ensure relevant market information is communicated to sales leadership to be leveraged across the organization
Manage, mentor, and support team members to ensure adherence to best practices and success
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback including one on one role playing, team meetings, observe and/or join customer phone calls
Implement standards and metrics for measuring performance and monitoring productivity
Oversee annual performance review process including setting goals, determine development objectives and evaluating performance
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success as a manager in lead generation/new sales development including cold calling and prospecting
Track record of success with demonstrated growth in prior sales roles
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience using a CRM system to manage pipeline and sales processes, as well as creating and using reporting software or tools
Bachelor's degree desired
Nice to Have: experience in the Cloud Computing, Managed Services industry, or technology space (preferable)

Data and Process Driven Mentality: Data driven sales person who analyzes the sales process and looks for ways to improve effectiveness and implement best practices
