The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Senior Reporting Analyst.
The Senior Reporting Analyst maintains and ensures the accuracy of the corporate Business Office and Finance databases, including the Financial Package, Business Office Management Reports, Accounts Receivable Reports and all financial databases.Â Understands the account flow throughout the revenue cycle from Patient Access through Patient Accounting functions.Â Resolves user problems encountered with the reporting databases via requests and tickets and communicates with system users all changes and enhancements. Performs data analysis to support evaluation of system defects or to develop requirements for new functionality; triages and troubleshoots complex user-reported system defects; and assists in various system trouble-shooting, balancing and correction efforts including analysis, verification and validation of issues and fixes. Â Independently gathers and defines functional requirements for new projects, enhancements and modifications. Regularly communicates user requirements and serves as the liaison between the IT/System Integrations and the â€œfront-endâ€� business office user groups.
Key Responsibilities include:
Validates, edits and maintains Business Office and Financial databases and reports using tools such as SQL, Crystal Report Writer, Microsoft applications including Excel and Access, relational databases and programming languages such as SQL and Visual Basic.
Resolves user problems and errors encountered with the reporting databases via requests and tickets. Communicates with system users regarding all changes and enhancements, including data analysis and review to evaluate reported issues, and any balancing and correction efforts to verify and validate resolution.
As necessary, gathers and defines functional requirements for new projects, enhancements and modifications including new entity builds and existing application changes and upgrades.
Represents the Financial Systems department in UHS cross-department projects and meetings.Â Serves as the liaison between various UHS departments (IT/System Integration, Business Office, CBO, etc.).
