Our Client is seeking a Mainframe Programmer in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The successful candidate will review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale mainframe computer system.
Additional responsibilities include:
Maintain and develop on-line and batch application programs
Develop and implement a disaster recovery plan
Work with project members to develop specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts
Lead technical design, development, integration, testing, installation, documentation, and maintenance of highly complex business applications
To succeed in this role you will need the following:
5-7 years of experience
Experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, MQ, API, File Transmission, and TSO/ISPF
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with global teams
Financial experience is a plus
