Expedient Demand Generation Specialists (DGS) are part of the marketing team located at our headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. Partnering with our business development and sales teams in multiple cities, the DGS team is responsible for qualifying and nurturing both inbound and outbound leads to foster new opportunities for growth.
We are hiring an Inside Sales Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that the DGS team develops a consistent pipeline of new, qualified opportunities for our sales teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking, while coordinating and mentoring a team engaged in prospecting via account based marketing (ABM) techniques. Qualified candidates will show previous success leading teams engaged with functions such as inside sales, customer care, or sales development.

Bachelors or associates degree highly preferred
Prior experience as an individual contributor with experience directly selling against a quota and meeting/exceeding goals
A technical aptitude and interest in information technology
Self-motivation, competitiveness, objection handling and attention to detail
Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing; able to prepare reports and present to cross-functional teams
Professional interpersonal skills, polish, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce.com
Ability to perceive prospect need(s) and develop strategies to influence their decision-making in collaboration with the broader marketing team
In addition to a base salary, this role offers a variable compensation incentive based on team performance
Standardize the creation and maintenance of new target account lists and innovative targeting methodologies for prospecting
Ensure that each DGS team member is meeting his/her minimum monthly appointment threshold
Monitor and verify timely responses to inbound inquiries that are received from various sources such as social media, search engine optimization & marketing, digital advertising, trade show attendance, sponsorship, and other sources
Conduct competitive research and keep current on Expedient product development and emerging technologies in order to keep the team duly informed and engaged in continuous training activities
Measure, analyze, and report on team performance, both qualitatively and quantitatively; conduct regular performance evaluations of each team member to track progress and ensure the team is maintaining a predictable pipeline of new meetings
Mentor and motivate the DGS team; provide daily encouragement, feedback, and inspiration for consistent, targeted prospect identification and messaging
