The key function of the API Implementation Support Lead is to provide technical leadership and support forsmartvmAPI. We are seeking an experienced individual with knowledge of data driven API solutions. This person will possess strong, broad IT background including multiple API implementations with software-as-a-service. This position is in our apexportal Solutions department, which implements, supports and delivers consulting services forapexportalto our clients. We are seeking a strong mentor to manage a team of API delivery and support specialists that is customer serviced focused and able to build rapport with team members and clients. Required location is working onsite in our Greensboro, NC Office.
Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, interfaces and data delivery via APIs.
Knowledge of CSV, XML, and JSON file formats.
Knowledge of data related applications and best practices for review of data quality.
Portal Solutions Experience
Good understanding of data structures, and relationships.
Data definition, data manipulation, data control, and transactional control
Administration, including creating and restoring SQL backups
Development, including creating and troubleshooting DTS packages, stored procedures, complex data queries.
SSIS preferred but not required
Windows networking, including IIS and Windows security admin.
Working knowledge of firewalls, TCP/IP stack, reverse proxies.
Working knowledge of API management tools such as Apigee or other industry standard tools.
Working knowledge of FTP, secure FTP, and PGP
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar experience preferred
Strong, broad IT background including multiple API (REST/SOAP) implementations with both software-as-a-service.
Customer-facing experience with large customers preferred
