The Direct Care & Treatment (DCT) Facility Data Analyst is a key member of the Department of Human Services (DHS) Direct Care & Treatment/Facilities Management team who performs asset management functions and support for the programs and activities of the Direct Care & Treatment administration. The Facility Data Analyst will perform asset management functions such as data entry, research, asset creation and verification, asset data analysis and reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of policy to recommend and implement work methods and procedures which improve operational practices. A successful employee demonstrates clear communication skills and the ability to work as a team and provide on-going technical support to other Facility Management staff.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Asset management from the time of purchase through the duration of the asset lifecycle including asset movement and fiscal management such as invoice reconciliation and financial reporting
Creating, maintaining and managing effective asset management processes including the development and implementation of policies and procedures which support asset management strategies
Serving as the primary asset management services point-of-contact within a larger Direct Care & Treatment Facility Management workgroup who prepares written data analysis, communicates findings, and provides direction regarding asset management services
Must meet one of the following education qualifications listed below:
One year of professional experience working with large databases or financial systems
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management or accounting plus two years of advanced level technical/paraprofessional experience in data collection, analysis and reporting
