The incumbent will be a member of the Manufacturing IT Group who will function as a project team member. Assigned projects will supply full end-to-end delivery, within budget and on time, of various Manufacturing System solutions to the business.
The incumbent will primarily perform and be responsible for assigned technical activities, i.e. design, specification, test and implementation. The Analyst will assist, as directed, with project planning and execution including: proposal preparation, cost and price estimating, scope definition, task and resource scheduling, quality review, client relationship coordination.
In addition to project oriented activities, the incumbent will be responsible for providing ‘off-hours’ support for ‘production critical’ systems.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The primary responsibilities of this role, MES Associate Analyst, are to:
Execute project related assignments in the prescribed time period.
Provide ‘off-hours’ IT support to production facilities.
Identify root causes and troubleshoot complex issues.
Work in concert with site teams to speed up project implementation.
Gain detailed knowledge of application software to enable production execution of processes.
Drive collaboration in all areas of IT (i.e. network / security / database / infrastructure / workplace) to ensure effective operational implementations.
Gain a fundamental knowledge of the Business processes.
Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field with 1+ years of industry experience.
GPA of 3.0 and above.
Skill & Competency Requirements:
Knowledge of relational databases (i.e. Oracle);
Analytical and problem solving skills;
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to acknowledge, communicate, escalate and resolve problems;
Strong team skills, having the ability to work effectively with a variety of people, with varying backgrounds, domestically and globally.
Knowledge of ‘plant floor’ IT systems;
Knowledge of programming logic;
Experience in regulated industry;
Experience with PAS-X MES;
Experience with SAP.
Candidate must be willing to travel (Domestic/International) on an as needed basis.
