The Sr Analyst/Bus Tech Support is an individual contributor within the Business Technology Support (BTS) department. The primary responsibility for this position is to provide ongoing support and administration of Oracle’s Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Fusion Accounting Hub Cloud Reporting(FAHCR) platforms. The Sr. Analyst duties include administration, training, system support, and report development while continuously analyzing current business control processes and related policies and procedures to promote effective controls and standardization across the organization.
Responsible for gathering, compiling, and developing reporting requirements from business units.
Develops data access queries for use in OBIEE Answers, BI Publisher, and Dashboards.
Aids in development of complex ad hoc queries and analyses.
Works in conjunction with data analysts for developing dashboards and other end user solutions.
Works with business analysts and acts as a liaison between technical departments and business departments including Oracle support.
Trains the power users of respective businesses units along with business analysts.
Ensures industry best practices are followed.
Develops and coordinates data conversion/migration plan to move data to the production environment.
Determines and maintains access controls for the OBIEE and FAHCR solutions, such as id/password assistance and role specific access.
Performs UAT activities including writing test documentation, training participants, and testing the application before moving to production.
Reports, logs, and manages functional issues via Oracle support for OBIEE and FAHCR platforms.
Performs functional testing of OBIEE and FAHCR following system and application enhancements, upgrades and patches to validate system integrity and functionality
Provide end-user support for the OBIEE and FAHCR platforms and business processes by providing guidance, troubleshooting, resolving system issues.
Perform responsibilities assigned as a project team member
Assist in the development and maintenance of training materials and operations manuals related to OBIEE and FAHCR platforms according to department standards and guidelines in conjunction with system enhancements, tariff revisions and changes to business processes to ensure the information adheres to current Company standard practices, policies and procedures, providing end users with a resource to ensure compliance
Provide clear, concise and effective verbal and written communication and documentation
Provide interpretation of Company policies and procedures, state and federal rules and regulations to maintain consistency and stay within regulatory and company guidelines in Company operations
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
4-6 years of experience supporting OBIEE or FAHCR solutions
Knowledge of Noetix Global Views
Basic understanding of Oracle SQL
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
