Join the Kurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC) in Enabling Technology for a Better World. We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking individual to join our IT department located at our Global headquarters in Jefferson Hills, PA. KJLC is a growing global manufacturer and distributor of vacuum technology.
The IT Support Specialist will support and train employees to effectively use technology. This person will install and troubleshoot PC’s, printers, copiers and other peripheral endpoint devices. They will also resolve Helpdesk issues and distribute user requests to other analysts as required.
Key Job Elements:
Hands-on IT hardware support including new PC and application installation.
Proactively examine users’ PC’s for viruses, worms, temp files and other performance constraints.
Responsible for fax and printer operation and coordination with external support organization.
Responsible for daily monitoring of designated server applications related to user’s endpoints.
Provide user assistance and training on PC and application operation.
Assist IT Manager in collection and measurement of department metrics.
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
1-3 years IT and Helpdesk experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair PC’s, printers and other peripherals.
Knowledge of Identity Management, Networking a plus.
