MetLife’s Benefits Senior Tech Lead of Enterprise Human Resources Information Technology Systems is responsible for partnering with Sr. HR leaders, third party vendors and IT Executives and their respective organizations, to lead global continuous improvement projects and annual event with the goal of attracting, developing and retaining top talent across the organization. Specifically this position will be responsible for managing an IT team of direct and non-direct reports leveraging Oracle HCM and supporting of Benefits, 401k, Deferred Comp and Interfaces from the cloud and GDC based solutions.
Lead the Application Development for Benefits team with Oracle cloud /Fusion HCM implementation Actively participate in Oracle HCM implementation activities including initial Research, design, setup, development , testing and validation Work with Functional Users to translate user requirements into Technical Specifications Partner with internal business owners, technical team members, and senior management throughout the project life cycle to assist and support the design, development, and performance management, workforce compensation, talent review, and transactional business intelligence Act as the intermediary to facilitate a clear understanding among all parties about business assumptions and requirements, design, technical, testing, and production migration requirements Lead and code with the Benefits Application development team to establish, revise, and maintain standards and procedures while implementing system projects Should be able to guide the Technical team onsite/offshore on design and approach. Work with Benefits Business to foster best business practices, the appropriate use of automation to provide efficient, cost-effective administrative systems and a continual process improvement approach to the Board’s automated administrative systems Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
-3 - 5 years of Oracle Fusion/cloud Benefits HCM -Prior experience with Cloud HCM modules like HR, Ben Admin , Benefits -Prior experience in SQR, People Tools & Queries -Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required -Prior lead role or project management experience -Software development experience in Object oriented programming languages like Java or .net
-Proven Experience with Oracle HCM Benefits cloud certified , and other third party SAAS HR Solutions -Ability to manage systems testing including unit, QA, end to end and user acceptance testing -Proven technical capabilities with online and mobile delivery, and usability concepts and integration solutions such as Informatica as well as indirect management of a Quality Assurance Team. -Have Prior experience in PeopleSoft HCM modules HR, Ben Admin , Benefits to be able to assist with the cloud implementation -Experience negotiating contracts and SLA’s with Vendors as well as managing vendors to SLA’s.
