This Project Manager role will assume responsibility for the oversight, coordination and delivery of a project or projects and work with various stakeholders worldwide to manage the delivery of the Authorization Projects in the Identity and Access domain. The role works in close partnership with the Stakeholders, Product Owners, Development, Quality Assurance and Support teams.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access and SQL is preferred. At this level, you should expect to participate in negotiations with high-level stakeholders and help the team with process improvements. The project management role will take the regulation from the draft status, through the project life cycle, to implementation, and BAU operations and reporting.
Core IT and PM competencies i.e. knowledge of for example: SDLC, Agile Scrum, Java , SQL etc Moderate technical domain proficiency - either deeper in one domain or across a variety of project types – ideal Effective and confident communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills Energetic, enthusiastic and a proven ability to work and lead in a team based environment Agile (specifically Scrum) knowledge and or experience (nice to have unless specified otherwise) Business domain knowledge (preferred) Financial industry experience (preferred) Previous direct PM experience Has been accountable for delivery of large scale projects Ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementation
Understand the Business strategy, requirements and priorities Drive product roadmap, create user stories and manage product backlogs Development the standards, policy and procedures for the SDLC Plan, schedule, monitor the development and implementation via deadlines, KPIs and audits Work with remote teams to align the New York team timelines and delivery schedules Evaluate the risks and conflicts in priorities during the SDLC Manage overall and individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables Apply the latest and proven agile methodologies to deliver the applications Report the project health, status, obstacles in timely manner to management Implement the latest collaboration and management tools for the team to measure the KPIs Manage the project teams that work on dotted lines Qualifications:
BS degree with previous relevant practical IT project management experience Experience is SDLC methodologies, especially Agile process using applicable tools Experience in using and coaching in different collaborative tools Good written and verbal communication in English Ability to learn and guide the teams on best practice Knowledge of Infrastructure, Client Server
