All Lines Technology is seeking a Sr. Desktop Analyst who will provide top-level operational service and support for all pieces of the desktop and technology environment.
Engages as needed with third-party vendors in the areas of product testing, installation, configuration, delivery, maintenance, and monitoring of all components and services, in accordance with defined roadmaps, strategies, policies, and standards
Assists in the delivery of infrastructure development and build activities, including but not limited to release and deployment management for new services, e.g., operating system upgrades, new desktop builds, and compatibility testing
Maintains validity of service asset and configuration management data as pertains to desktop infrastructure
Monitors and reports on performance levels of desktop services
Provides assistance and technical support for the resolution of desktop problems, incidents, issues and emergencies.
Assists with 4th level support escalations to vendors and Original Equipment Manufacturer
Responds to assigned tasks in accordance with predefined Service-Level Agreements (SLA)
Proactively performs corrective procedures for loss-prevention or system recovery of desktop services and infrastructure
Provides clear documentation and subsequent coaching to Desktop and Help Desk team members
Provides monthly desktop services metrics to management.
Ensures compatibility of all new and proposed software with existing desktop images prior to implementation
Regularly collaborates with other Senior Desktop Analysts to ensure validity of currently utilized technologies, methodologies, and standards
5-10 years of experience supporting information systems, preferably in a desktop support setting
Proven expertise in providing superior and dynamic service in Operating System image building and maintenance
Extensive experience with application packaging, deployment methods, and best practices
Fluent in scripting languages such as PowerShell and VBScript
Demonstrated ability to effectively design, configure, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot all aspects of Group Policy Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and PXE
Knowledge of AGPM, MBAM (BitLocker), USMT, MDOP, MDT2012, SSO, Device Encryption, iOS/Android/MDM, Virtualization, Cloud technologies/infrastructure, and Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Comfortable completing tasks with minimal instruction and supervision
Excellent demeanor and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees
Keen attention to detail, as well as strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
Technical knowledge and experience in multiple areas of desktop services
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, able to determine the impact of desktop issues quickly
Ability to handle multiple projects and reset priorities as needed
