We are seeking an API Automation Quality Assurance Tester that will be responsible for the development of large test automation projects in API's. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Automation Scripts for new functionality in services written in .NET that make use of SQL server. The ideal candidate will possess Programming experience, API testing experience and automation experience. The API Automation QA Tester will design, develop and support automated test scripts using API testing tools. You will be responsible for robust automation framework, designing custom reusable functions and developing detailed API test scenarios for new functionality. You will conduct regression, performance and security testing and conduct API test execution, tracking results and analyzing failures. You will also assist in root cause analysis of key/critical defects and continuously ensure quality characteristics of the software.
Experience testing Web Applications and backend applications.
Experience testing web services manually using any tools.
Strong SQL skills with experience in Database testing.
Programming experience is required
Expert in Automation Framework, processes and strategies.
Experience working with Agile Development methodologies.
Knowledge about DevOps testing.
Ability to apply Automation testing in Agile development environment.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline
2 years’ Programming experience C#, .NET, or Java.
3 years’ experience with API Testing Tools: Soap UI Pro/Ready! API /Parasoft/vRest or similar tools.
2 years’ experience with Test Automation using Selenium.
