The primary duty of the Senior Sales Associate is to enhance Sales Team performance.
The Senior Sales Associate will provide tactical-level leadership and decision making for the Sales Team, will ensure that strategies and goals from the Marketing Director and upper management are carried out and accounted for, and will give the Sales Team day-to-day direction, goals, and oversight.
Essential Duties Include:
? Ensure that the Sales Team is meeting its performance goals and be accountable for team performance ? Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making decisions on escalated tickets ? Conduct research to identify potential business opportunities and target market for products and services ? Improve competence of sales staff by improving product knowledge and by training on effective sales techniques ? Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options ? Establish or disseminate sales objectives and oversee the designation of sales quota to sales team members ? Be the main point of contact for channel partners and business development opportunities ? Help grow the company’s new revenue by increasing new account signups and by upselling existing customers ? Assign roles to team members and ensure that team members are trained for their roles ? Other duties, tasks and assignments, as needed or required
? BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience ? Excellent written and verbal communication ? Sales leadership experience ? Proven record of sales performance, goal completion, and revenue growth
? Must be flexible regarding schedule and must be available for occasional events or miscellaneous hours, and must be available for off-premises work as needed for outbound sales duties ? Ability to work to spec and meet deadlines ? Familiarity with SalesForce a plus ? Familiarity with project management and communication tools a plus (Trello, Slack, Spark, Drive, etc.)
