We are currently in need of a DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain system software for life-saving medical devices.
You need to be well grounded in your technical discipline, ideally through a mix of education and a demonstrated successful track record of performance. Your passion for your craft will be obvious. In addition to having the right attitude, aptitude, willingness to learn, and experience… We need you to have:
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
Experience with automation/configuration management using either Bash, Python, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, or an equivalent
Wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus)
Working understanding of code and scripting (PHP, Python, C++)
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
In this role, you will:
Support the development and execution of system design reviews and code review processes
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
Work closely with development engineers to define automated build and test processes and tools to support device Continuous integration and verification/validation testing.
Work closely with QA engineers to produce valid test protocols from system requirements and knowledge of the system.
Adhere to product build and release schedules and strategies.
You must have:
BS/MS degree in an Computer or engineering discipline
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Handheld, Wearable, or Medical devices
Regulatory compliance standards
Understanding of software design
