As a Java Application Developer Lead, you will be a part of our Payments Engine/Modernization MIS team.
You will be responsible for working directly with the scrum teams in a JAVA/Vendor technology environment utilizing AGILE methodology. You will provide daily technical leadership in agile ceremonies, help to define and adhere to technical standards across the team, eliminate and prioritize technical team problems and roadblocks. This role will lead the team (with the help of Scrum Master and Product Owner) in estimating, planning, and designing solutions with the scrum team. This position is accountable for hands-on technical leadership and design activities directly related to migration of our legacy Wire and ACH platforms to a modernized real-time payments system in support of the needs of our Corporate and Institutional customers.
You will participate in activities related to both core payments processing and ancillary initiatives all directly tied to the Payments Engine platform. We are seeking a broad skilled technical individual that is a solid team player that enjoys challenges, in a fast paced, highly visible and challenging environment. The proper candidate must have excellent communication skills, understand strategic thinking, use sound judgment and be able to deliver on committed deadlines/objectives.
