Our Client, a leading North American supplier of components to the Automotive industry, is currently seeking qualified candidates for a contract Web Developer position in their Pittsburgh office.
The focus of this role will be split between new development work, enhancement projects, and ongoing maintenance of over 30 applications. The ideal candidate will be able to translate business requirements into designs, perform feasibility studies, define application scope and objectives, and implement complete solutions.
With a project length of 4-6 months, this will be an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join an energetic, high-performing team on an interesting and high-profile project. Located minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and accessible by the "T" line, our Client offers an extremely professional, modern office space, plus great views of the city and river!
Provide creative and technical input to the Project Leader and participate throughout the development life cycle.
5 – 10 years of hands-on experience with development and support of web applications.
A strong understanding of User Interface design, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
Strong grasp of security principles and applications to web applications.
Demonstrated knowledge of application development using SQL Server 2008/2014 database toolset including SSIS and SSRS.
