The role of the eCommerce Project Manager is to plan and coordinate eCommerce projects from inception through production release. This role will partner with a cross-functional eCommerce team of Business Analysts, User Experience Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts and eCommerce leaders to deliver high-quality functionality on our websites and system applications. This role reports to the Project Management Office (PMO) Leader.
Details of the Role
Responsible for scheduling and coordinating project meetings, updating schedules, aligning resources and coordinating project teams to deliver high quality functionality.
Communicate project status, issues and risks in a concise, accurate and data driven manner.
Participate in Sprint Planning Sessions, Sprint Retrospectives, Product Demos, Scrum Meetings and other associated Agile Scrum activities.
Interact and collaborate with project sponsors, stakeholders, eCommerce leaders, organization leaders, business teams, technical teams and vendors to define and deliver small to medium sized projects.
Anticipate project roadblocks, bottlenecks, respond to change, escalate issues when needed and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
Plan and manage multiple parallel projects in coordination with other eCommerce Project Managers
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks.
Cultivate an environment where team members respect each other and work together to deliver high-quality functionality.
Provide timely project status updates to internal teams and PMO Leader.
Drive effective and efficient teamwork, communication and commitment across cross-functional teams with competing priorities.
Responsible for managing individual eCommerce project budgets.

Demonstrated understanding of project management, systems development life cycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

3-5 years of project management in eCommerce, IT or a related industry.
3+ years of working with cross-functional teams.
Experience working with B2B or B2C eCommerce and associated systems.
Experience managing project budgets.
Experience with Agile Development software (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket and Zephyr).
Bachelors’ Degree in software related field or equivalent experience in the industry.
