The Digital Technology Rotation Program (DTRP) is a development program designed to place employees in a variety of exciting and challenging roles within Information Technology (IT) at Bristol-Myers Squibb. IT creates differentiated solutions that deliver measurable value, deliver rapid cycles of innovation and enable integrated operations across the company to drive business outcomes for employees, business units and ultimately for patients. This program helps to identify potential future Information Technology and business leaders for Bristol-Myers Squibb. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple positions to tackle critical business challenges and will join an established network of people who are truly invested in helping you develop your career. During your rotations, you will gain exposure to a variety of functions and leaders within Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Throughout the program, you will be instrumental in developing digital, technical and business strategy and will be challenged to make recommendations with real business impact. You will also develop critical skills in the digital marketplace throughout the program.
Assignments may include:
Learning and applying innovative digital capabilities and creative problem solving to address crucial business problems
Facilitating groups of subject matter experts while employing design thinking and lean sigma methodologies.
Business analysis, understanding business needs, gathering requirements and defining the functional specifications to fulfill them.
Project management, driving and owning the timelines and associated deliverables of specific projects or programs.
Emerging technology research, exploring and understanding new technology trends that can be incorporated as new capabilities within the BMS organization.
The DTRP is two years in duration and is typically comprised of three eight-month rotations, giving you exposure to multiple areas. The program ensures you will gain valuable and diverse learning experiences while contributing meaningfully to Bristol-Myers Squibb and the patients we serve.
The program was established over 20 years ago. Graduates are located in various roles across the organization in key leadership positions.
A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or combined MBA/MIS (Masters in Information Systems) within the past two years.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant digital, information technology or other relevant industry experience.
