Position Charter: Primary interface between users and the ERP solution to develop and implement business processes that align with best practices and cost-effective ERP utilization. This position will be part of the ERP selection team and integral to HFIs implementation of the new ERP.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the selection and implementation of a new ERP using standard project management techniques. This position will maintain the master WBS, Decision Log, Action Items and Change Requests.
Develop a deep understanding of HFI’s manufacturing business processes and translate those to system requirements and when necessary to support best-practices, help the users change their process.
Be a Change Management leader ensuring users are aware of and most importantly understand pending changes, the reasoning and the expected results.
This position requires an understanding of system architectures, database structures and application best practices to provide direction on solutions implementation.
Develop a collaborative relationship with users to become a partner in their business by providing innovative solutions to meet their business needs
Support users in business case development for additional ERP functionality.
Maintain thorough documentation on all ERP requirements and configuration changes to support HFI’s business.
As ERP expertise develops through the implementation, act as an SME to support and train users.
Take ownership of advanced or chronic issues and facilitate the vendor solution.
Be a champion for business process improvement using the IBM BPM application and develop process flows and requirements to automate key processes.
